Day 5 or 6 of mamma bird on the nest. Last night it was cold & rained. She should’ve lit a fire or something. I’m calling the cops.
Mother bird allowed me to take this picture of her this morning. She’s going to be a great mom. I think the dad’s a real deadbeat though.
Here’s the pretty little mudder bird on the nest. The females are normally less flashy in color.

Holy CRAP! We found a hummingbird nest made out of our dryer lint outside our front door! And there’s an egg in it! WE’RE GONNA BE GRANDPARENTS!
